Community guidelines
Hey Around is for meeting new people. To keep it that way:
- You must be 18 or older.
- No nudity, sexual acts or sexual content of any kind.
- No harassment, hate, threats or bullying.
- Don't pretend to be someone else, including with deepfakes or other altered video or voice.
- No spam, scams, selling, or asking people for money.
- Don't record or screenshot people without their permission.
- Don't share anyone's personal details, including your own address or phone number.
- On the song wall, pin only your own singing, never someone else's recording.
What happens when someone breaks them
Tap Report during a chat. The call ends and you won't be matched with that person again. If three different people report someone within 24 hours, their account is suspended for 7 days. Serious or repeated violations lead to a permanent ban, and some are crimes that we report to the police, as Indian law requires.
On the song wall, tap the flag on a song to report it. A song that three different people report comes down straight away.
Every chat starts with voices only, and faces show only if you both choose to. When they do, the other person's video stays blurred until your browser has checked it for nudity, and the check keeps running for as long as faces are on. It runs on your device, and nobody records or stores your voice or video in chats.
